Today is “Giving Tuesday”, a great time to remember the good that we can do this holiday season. If you’re bell-ringersanything like me, your wallet never has enough money to give to all the charitable causes that need your help. But have you thought about donating your time?

Members of a local Lions club are assisting the Salvation Army by ringing bells for 2-hour shifts, at various stores in Waupaca, Wis., on Saturday, December 13.  I say that not to toot our own horn (or, ring our own bell, as it were), but to point out that a nonprofit you belong to might be interested in helping out the Salvation Army by ringing bells in your community.  It’s even funner if you can do so as a group, like we are doing. Something to think about.
